ShimmerS is a bridal, ethnic and party wear atelier based in Kolkata, West Bengal, specialising in made-to-order and ready pieces finished with hand embroidery and heirloom fabric.
Most bridal and heavily embroidered pieces on this site are made to order. Placing an order through this website is a request to purchase — it is confirmed only once our team has contacted you to verify fabric, embroidery, sizing and final pricing. Delivery timelines shown on product pages are estimates and may vary based on order volume and the season.
Prices listed are indicative starting prices in Indian Rupees (₹) and may change based on customisation, fabric choice, size and embroidery density. Final pricing will always be confirmed with you before production begins, and no payment is collected automatically through this website.
Where a piece requires fitting, you will be invited to an in-atelier appointment or, for out-of-city orders, a video consultation with measurement guidance. Delays in providing measurements or attending scheduled fittings may extend delivery timelines.
All designs, photographs, text and branding on this website belong to ShimmerS unless otherwise credited, and may not be reproduced or used commercially without our written permission.
While we take great care in crafting every piece, natural variations in handwoven fabric, hand embroidery and dye lots are part of the craft and are not considered defects. ShimmerS is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including courier delays, artisan availability or force majeure events.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal.
