Grooms often get far less styling attention than brides, but a made-to-order sherwani goes through just as considered a process — usually across three fitting appointments.
The first appointment covers measurements and fabric and embroidery selection. Come with a clear sense of the colour palette the wedding is working with, since the sherwani is usually finalised before the accompanying kurta or churidar.
The second appointment is a structural fitting — checking shoulder line, chest fit and sleeve length on the partially finished piece before embroidery is completed. This is the appointment to flag any comfort issues, since changes get harder after this stage.
The final appointment is a full fitting in the completed piece, including the churidar, footwear and any layered jacket or stole, so you can see and adjust the entire look together rather than piece by piece.
Book your first appointment at least six to eight weeks out for a heavily embroidered sherwani — the same lead time we recommend for a bridal lehenga.
